About the Recipe
This bright and buttery orange drizzle loaf is soft, moist, and bursting with fresh citrus flavor. Topped with a sweet zesty glaze, it’s the perfect loaf for breakfast, brunch, or a light dessert.

Ingredients
Loaf
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 ½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
2 large eggs
½ cup milk
¼ cup fresh orange juice
Zest of 1–2 oranges
1 tsp vanilla extract
Orange Drizzle Glaze
1 cup powdered sugar
2–3 tbsp fresh orange juice
Extra orange zest (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan and set aside. In a bowl, whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter, eggs, milk, orange juice, orange zest, and vanilla until well combined.
Step 3
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix — small lumps are fine.
Step 4
Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake for 40–50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool, then whisk powdered sugar with orange juice to make the glaze and drizzle over the loaf.
